Does the winter climates effect the Visul Flex Stone Panels? - No. QEP's Visul Detectable Warning System Tiles are still flexible in colder climates, hence, no cracking will occur. Also, due to the polyurethane content of the tiles they are nonporous, therefore will not absorb water through freeze thaw cycles

What are the detectable warning tiles made of? - They are made of polyurethane and a stone aggregate blend.

Are secondary fixings required to install the tiles? - The Visul adhesive system is the only adhesive required in the installation method. There is absolutely no need for any secondary fixing i.e. screws and furthermore we do not recommend.

Do you have installation instructions? - The tiles are supplied with installation instructions with picture illustrations.

What colors are available? - Currently we manufacture in three colors as standard (red, yellow, buff and black) however, we can color match to specific requirements upon request.

Does QEP do any training or product demonstrations? - Yes we train contractors and city employees when required to install. We also demonstrate the product upon request.

Can Visul Flex-Stone Panels be adhered with the Visul adhesive system directly onto asphalt? - Yes they can, supported by test results reflecting 100% cohesive failure of the asphalt. These results are available upon request.
